Location

The Planetário do Porto – Centro Ciência Viva is located at Rua das Estrelas, 4150-762 Porto, in the Boavista/Lordelo district west of the city center, near the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto. This modern science center offers immersive planetarium shows and astronomy exhibits, positioned close to Casa da Música concert hall (about 1 km away), the Arrábida Bridge spanning the Douro River, and the expansive Serralves Museum and gardens further west. The area connects via metro at Casa da Música station, bus stops named "Planetário," and paths to Palácio de Cristal gardens, romantic viewpoints, and the historic Massarelos riverside, with easy access back to central Porto's Ribeira and Clérigos landmarks.
