Casa do Infante is located at Rua da Alfândega 10, 4050-029 Porto, in the heart of the UNESCO-listed Ribeira district on the north bank of the Douro River. This 14th-century Gothic house, believed to be the birthplace of Prince Henry the Navigator, sits just off Praça do Infante D. Henrique and overlooks the lively Largo do Terreiro near the riverfront piers. Steps away lie the Ribeira promenade with its iconic rabelo boats, the Elevador da Ribeira funicular (200m), and Igreja de São Francisco church (300m). Palácio da Bolsa stock exchange hall and the Museum of Transport and Communication are within 500m, while São Bento metro station offers easy access via a short walk uphill.
