This neoclassical landmark, rebuilt after a 1908 fire by architect José Marques da Silva, anchors the bustling square amid Porto's UNESCO centre. Nearby, Igreja de Santo Ildefonso church (200m) with its azulejo tiles overlooks the square, alongside Capela dos Alfaiates chapel and historic Rua de Augusto Rosa cafés.
