Park under Vlašský Dvůr is a quiet green refuge set directly beneath the Italian Court, once the royal mint of the Bohemian Kingdom. Shaped in the late 19th century as part of Kutná Hora’s urban renewal, the park softens the monumental presence of the mint with lawns, trees, and shaded paths. Its position on a gentle slope offers changing perspectives of the historic complex above, making it a favourite spot for photographers and anyone seeking a calmer angle on the city’s landmarks. Inside the park, visitors find a blend of open spaces and intimate corners framed by mature trees. Benches placed along the pathways create natural viewpoints toward the Church of St. James and the rooftops of the old town. In spring and summer, flowerbeds add colour, while the surrounding stone walls remind visitors of the site’s medieval past. The park also serves as a pleasant transition zone between the bustling centre and quieter residential streets.

Park pod Vlašským dvorem (Park under the Italian Court) is located on the southern edge of Kutná Hora's historic centre, beneath the historic Vlašský Dvůr (Italian Court) building, a UNESCO site and former royal mint. The park lies on a slope descending toward the Vrchlice (Páchů) Creek and is part of the larger green space that includes Pacákovy sady and Breüerovy sady. Nearby attractions are all within easy walking distance. The Italian Court (Vlašský dvůr) itself, one of Kutná Hora's most important historical sites, is directly above the park. The Czech Museum of Silver, including the medieval silver mine tour and the Gothic Stone House, is just a few minutes away. St. Barbara's Cathedral, the town's iconic Late Gothic monument, is about 400–500 metres away. Other nearby sights include the Church of St. John of Nepomuk, the Plague Column, the Three Kings House, the Chocolate Museum, and GASK (Central Bohemian Gallery). The Sedlec Ossuary ("Bone Church") is about 1–1.5 kilometres away and can be reached by walking, bicycle, or bus. The park is also a starting point for walks to the Kaňk viewing tower and the silver mine, and it offers a peaceful spot to rest after visiting Kutná Hora's UNESCO-listed historic centre.
