Breüerovy sady is one of Kutná Hora’s most peaceful green spaces, a landscaped park created in the late 19th century during the city’s transformation from a mining centre into a cultural and residential town. Named after Mayor Josef Breüer, who promoted urban beautification, the park became a favourite promenade for locals seeking calm away from the busy historic core. Its design reflects the era’s taste for orderly paths, decorative plantings, and open lawns framed by mature trees. Inside the park, visitors can enjoy several small monuments and viewpoints that highlight Kutná Hora’s layered history. Benches placed along winding paths offer quiet spots with glimpses of St. James Church and the surrounding rooftops. Seasonal flowerbeds add colour, while the shaded alleys make it a pleasant retreat on warm days. The park also connects easily to nearby landmarks, making it a natural pause during a walk through the city.

Breuer Gardens is a picturesque park located in the historic centre of Kutná Hora, near Pobřežní Street in the UNESCO-listed town in Central Bohemia, Czech Republic. The gardens are situated at the foot of the hill topped by St. Barbara's Cathedral and the Central Bohemian Gallery, offering a serene escape from the town's bustling streets with lush greenery, tall pines, vibrant flower beds, and a wooden pavilion. Breuer Gardens is easily accessible on foot from the Kutná Hora Main Train Station (about 800 metres south to the roundabout, then Smetanova Street for 400 metres) or from the historic centre, including the Sedlec Ossuary (about 15 minutes walking south towards the river). Local buses also stop nearby at Pobřežní. Nearby attractions include the Italian Court (former royal mint), the Czech Museum of Silver and Hrádek, Church of Saint James with its 86-metre tower and viewpoint, the Monument to Karel Havlíček Borovský, the Three Kings House, Tyl House (Bohemian Museum of Silver), Sancturin House (Workshop of the Alchemist), the Plague Column, the Chocolate Museum, and the Mirror Maze. The famous St. Barbara's Cathedral is just above the gardens, and the Ursuline Convent is also close by. The Sedlec Ossuary is about 1.5 kilometres away.
