Leigh Woods is a National Trust woodland located on the south-west side of the Avon Gorge, near the western end of the Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol, with the postcode BS8 3QB. This extensive nature reserve offers a mix of broadleaf woodland, open grassy glades, and well-marked walking and mountain biking trails. It borders the Avon Gorge and is adjacent to the affluent suburb of Leigh Woods. Nearby, visitors can enjoy stunning views of the Clifton Suspension Bridge and the city of Bristol, with access to Stokeleigh Camp, an ancient hillfort located within the reserve. The woodland lies close to the Ashton Court Estate to the south and has convenient parking and a weekend coffee shop in the forest.
