Aalborg Miniby

About

Aalborg Miniby is a charming open‑air miniature town that recreates Aalborg as it looked around the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Built at a 1:10 scale, each house is crafted with real handmade bricks and traditional techniques, giving the tiny streets an impressive level of authenticity. Visitors can stroll around the display and recognise historic buildings such as the old town hall and the houses of Hjelmerstald, all recreated with remarkable detail. Although you cannot walk between the miniature streets, the craftsmanship is easy to appreciate from the paths surrounding the model town. Set within the grounds of Springeren Maritime Experience Centre, Aalborg Miniby offers a delightful and nostalgic glimpse into the city’s architectural past, making it a peaceful and visually engaging stop for families, history lovers, and anyone curious about Aalborg’s heritage.
