Kildeparken, often called “Kilden”, is located just west of central Aalborg, bounded by Vesterbro, Europahallen, Gammel Kærvej/Old Kærvej and the railway line, with main access from Gammel Kærvej 11 and via a pedestrian tunnel from John F. Kennedys Plads by the main railway and bus stations. The park sits directly behind Aalborg Kongres & Kultur Center and only a short walk from the city centre’s shopping streets, hotels and John F. Kennedys Plads, making it an easy green escape from downtown. Within Kildeparken itself you will find lawns, a lake with a fountain, classical sculptures, an open-air stage and the famous Park of Music with its “Singing Trees”, while nearby attractions such as Aalborg Tower, KUNSTEN Museum of Modern Art and Aalborg Zoo can be reached on foot along the same hillside.
