Galleri Wolfsen is located at Tiendeladen 6, 9000 Aalborg, Denmark, housed in a historic old warehouse in the heart of Aalborg's city center. Since opening in 1992, this leading contemporary art gallery has showcased paintings, graphics, sculptures, and ceramics by established and emerging artists from Denmark and across Europe. Immediately adjacent at Tiendeladen 4 is a striking street art mural by Danish artist Claus Frederiksen (BURNON). Within steps lie Aalborg Historical Museum just 300 feet away, the Cimbria Bull monument, Springtudser fountain, and the famous Jomfru Ane Gade entertainment street approximately 200 meters distant. Other nearby attractions include Gallery Kirk, Jens Bang's Stenhus historic merchant mansion, Vor Frue Kirke (Church of Our Lady), Gråbrødrekloster Museum, Budolfi Cathedral, and the Utzon Center, all within a 5 to 10-minute walk.
