Hupisaari Open‑Air Theatre is located in the Hupisaaret Islands City Park in central Oulu, on the delta of the River Oulu in the Myllytulli district, just north of Oulu city centre and easily reached via the park’s network of footbridges and waterfront paths. Nearby you can combine a visit with the rest of Hupisaaret Park’s green spaces, walking‑and‑biking trails, Kiikkusaari greenhouse, the Merikoski fish ladder, Northern Ostrobothnia Museum and Oulu Museum of Art, as well as the Ainola and Lasaretin islands areas with cafés, picnic spots and riverside paths that are all within a short stroll of the theatre.
