It stands on Dolní náměstí, at the corner with Lafayetova Street, in one of the city’s most attractive old-town areas. The palace dates back to around 1583 and is one of the notable historic houses in Olomouc’s Lower Square. It is a good stop for visitors who enjoy Renaissance and Baroque architecture, especially because its façade and corner details still reflect the city’s rich merchant past. Nearby, you can easily explore some of Olomouc’s best-known sights on foot.
