Originally opened in 1950 and later expanded into its current form, it now brings together a major indoor arena, a modern convention centre, and extensive exhibition halls, making it the largest multi‑purpose venue in the Netherlands. Its main arena, inaugurated in 1971, hosts everything from international concerts and televised shows to major sporting events, drawing audiences of up to 16,000 people.
