Galeria Sztuki w willi Oksza, a branch of the Tatra Museum, is one of Zakopane’s most atmospheric cultural spaces. Housed in a beautifully restored 1890s villa designed by Stanisław Witkiewicz, the creator of the Zakopane Style, it blends traditional Podhale architecture with an elegant exhibition setting. Inside, visitors encounter works by artists inspired by the Tatra Mountains and local highlander culture, including painting, sculpture, graphics and applied arts. The villa’s warm wooden interiors and carefully preserved decorative details create an intimate backdrop for both permanent and temporary exhibitions.
