Tatra National Park is located in the Tatra Mountains of southern Poland, bordering Slovakia, with its main entrance and visitor center in Zakopane at Chałubińskiego Street. Spanning 211 square kilometers of alpine terrain, it encompasses the High and Western Tatras, including peaks like Rysy and valleys such as Kościeliska, just minutes from Zakopane town center.
