Strążyska Valley is one of Zakopane’s most charming and accessible mountain valleys, leading visitors deep into a serene landscape shaped by spruce forests, rocky walls and the lively Strążyski Stream. The gentle path begins at the edge of town and follows the water through shaded woodland, making it an ideal walk for families, beginners and anyone seeking a peaceful escape close to the centre. After a pleasant approach, the trail opens onto Polana Strążyska, a picturesque clearing offering a striking, up‑close view of the sheer northern face of Giewont. A small historic tea house adds to the valley’s cosy atmosphere. From the clearing, a short extension leads to the Siklawica Waterfall, where water cascades down two rocky steps. Blending natural beauty, accessibility and iconic Tatra scenery, Strążyska Valley is a perfect introduction to the mountain world surrounding Zakopane.

Strążyska Valley is located at the end of Strążyska Street on the outskirts of Zakopane, Poland, about a 30-minute walk or short bus ride from Krupówki Street center, within Tatra National Park. This easy red trail follows Strążyski Stream through spruce forest to Polana Strążyska clearing and Siklawica Waterfall, offering views of Giewont's northern wall and the Sphinx rock formation. Nearby attractions include Kasprowy Wierch cable car, Nosal Peak and ski area, Krupówki Street for dining and shops, Giewont Mountain trails, Willa Oksza Tatra Museum gallery, Ku Dziurze Gorge, Dino Park Zakopane, Karol Szymanowski Museum at Willa Atma, and Dolna Rówień Krupowa meadow.
