Completed in 1999, the Main Tower rises 200 meters above the city, or 240 meters including its antenna, making it one of the tallest buildings in Frankfurt’s famous skyline. Its design combines a sleek glass cylinder with a square tower, creating a distinctive silhouette that symbolizes the city’s blend of tradition and innovation. The building houses offices, broadcasting studios, and a renowned restaurant, but its greatest attraction is the public observation deck. At 187 meters, this open-air platform provides a 360-degree panorama of Frankfurt, the Main River, and, on clear days, the Taunus mountains and the wider Rhine-Main region. It is the only skyscraper in the city with an observation terrace accessible to the public, making it a must-visit for both locals and tourists. The tower also integrates the preserved façade of its predecessor building at street level, linking past and present in a single structure. With its combination of cutting-edge design, cultural significance, and unforgettable views, the Main Tower has become a defining landmark of Frankfurt am Main.

Main Tower is located at Neue Mainzer Straße 52–58 in Frankfurt am Main’s Innenstadt district. This iconic skyscraper stands as one of the tallest buildings in Frankfurt, offering spectacular views from its observation platform at 200 meters above ground.
