The Visitors Terrace at Frankfurt Airport is located in Terminal 2 on Level 4, in the Food Plaza area next to McDonald's. It offers visitors an excellent vantage point to observe aircraft taking off, landing, and taxiing on the apron. The terrace features covered seating areas with protection from sun or rain, making it comfortable for guests to spend time watching the bustling airport activity. Admission is modest, with discounted rates for children, seniors, and persons with disabilities, while children under four enter free. The terrace is accessible without passing through security and includes special gaps in the protective fence for photography. Nearby on the airport complex are numerous dining and shopping options, making it a welcoming spot for travelers and plane enthusiasts alike. Note that the terrace is currently closed for modernization, and visitors are encouraged to explore the Visitors Center in Terminal 1 for airport insights and views.​
