Urban Spree is a dynamic cultural venue in Berlin’s Friedrichshain district, dedicated to urban art, music, and creative expression. Located on the RAW-Gelände, it spans 1,700 square metres and includes a contemporary art gallery, artist residencies, DIY workshops, and a vibrant Biergarten2. Since opening in 2012, Urban Spree has become a hub for street art and underground culture, hosting exhibitions, concerts, and festivals that celebrate alternative aesthetics and grassroots creativity. The venue’s outdoor Artist Wall is a landmark canvas for international muralists, while its indoor spaces support emerging and established artists alike. Visitors can browse the art store, enjoy live music, or relax with craft beer and street food in the garden. With its raw industrial charm and inclusive programming, Urban Spree offers an immersive experience that reflects Berlin’s edgy, ever-evolving cultural landscape.

Urban Spree is an urban art and cultural center located at Revaler Straße 99, 10245 Berlin, in the vibrant Friedrichshain district. Set within the RAW-Gelände, a former railway complex now renowned for its creative energy, Urban Spree offers an eclectic blend of contemporary gallery spaces, street art, live music venues, artist studios, a bookstore, and one of Berlin’s favorite beer gardens. The center’s outdoor areas and building facades are adorned with ever-changing murals and graffiti, making it a living gallery and a key spot for the city’s urban art scene. The immediate neighborhood buzzes with cultural attractions and nightlife. Within the RAW-Gelände complex, you’ll find a diverse array of clubs, skate parks, climbing walls, and event spaces, making it a magnet for locals and visitors alike. Just a short walk away, the East Side Gallery along the Spree presents Berlin’s most famous open-air murals on the remnants of the Berlin Wall.
