The Humboldt Forum in Berlin is a cultural landmark that brings together art, history, and science under one roof. Located in the reconstructed Berlin Palace on Museum Island, it opened in stages starting in 2020 and stands as one of the most ambitious cultural projects in Germany. The building combines a baroque-style exterior, replicating the original 18th-century palace, with a modern interior designed for exhibitions and events. Named after the famous German scholars Alexander and Wilhelm von Humboldt, the forum hosts collections from the Ethnological Museum and the Museum of Asian Art, as well as rotating exhibitions, lectures, and performances. It aims to encourage global dialogue and a critical look at colonial history. The Humboldt Forum also offers stunning views of central Berlin from its rooftop terrace.
