The Musée Liégeois du Luminaire (MULUM) is located at Rue Mère-Dieu 2 in the heart of Liège, Belgium, nestled at the foot of the Coteaux de la Citadelle hill in a historic neighborhood near the city center and easily reached from Place Saint-Lambert. This unique museum traces the evolution of lighting from prehistoric oil lamps to modern LEDs through over 1,300 artifacts including chandeliers, pendants, and wall sconces, many in working order, donated by collector Philippe Deitz.
