Stary National Theatre Kraków (also known as Helena Modrzejewska National Old Theatre) is located at Jagiellońska 1 on the corner of Szczepański Square in the heart of Kraków's UNESCO-listed Old Town (Stare Miasto). Nearby attractions include Bunkier Sztuki contemporary art gallery across the square, the Main Market Square (Rynek Główny) just 300 meters north, vibrant Floriańska Street with shops and cafes, Cloth Hall (Sukiennice) and St. Mary's Basilica in the square, Planty Park encircling the Old Town, and easy access to Wawel Hill southwards.
