Park Bednarskiego is one of Kraków’s most atmospheric green spaces, set within the dramatic limestone scenery of the old Podgórze quarry. Park Bednarskiego, officially Wojciech Bednarski Park, is located in the Podgórze district of Kraków on the right bank of the Vistula River, in a rocky hollow between Krzemionki and Parkowa streets, with additional access from Zamoyskiego Street near Plac Niepodległości. It lies just south of the historic Podgórze centre and Rynek Podgórski, close to St Joseph’s Church, the former Podgórze Town Hall and a short walk from the picturesque Krzemionki hills with the TVP Kraków broadcasting centre and SLR Krzemionki tower. Nearby are also the Korona Kraków sports stadium and residential streets leading towards the Vistula boulevards, making the park a peaceful green enclave within walking distance of riverside paths, historic Podgórze landmarks and viewpoints over the city.
