Wawel Cathedral is the spiritual heart of Kraków and one of Poland’s most revered national monuments. The Sigismund Chapel, often considered a masterpiece of the Northern Renaissance, and the mighty Sigismund Bell in the cathedral tower are among its most celebrated features. Wawel Cathedral is located on Wawel Hill within the Wawel Castle complex in Kraków’s Old Town, southern Poland, overlooking the Vistula River.
