The Archbishop’s Palace in Kraków is one of the city’s most significant historic residences, long associated with the spiritual and cultural life of Poland. Located on Franciszkańska Street, the palace is best known as the former home of Cardinal Karol Wojtyła, later Pope John Paul II, whose visits to the famous “papal window” turned the building into a symbol of hope and unity. Its elegant Baroque façade reflects centuries of ecclesiastical prestige, while the interior—though not fully accessible to the public—houses important diocesan offices and reception halls used for major church events.
