The Archaeological Museum in Gdańsk is located in the historic Dom Przyrodników (House of Naturalists) at 25/26 Mariacka Street, right in the heart of the Old Town close to the Motława riverfront. It occupies a complex of townhouses and the nearby Mariacka Gate between Mariacka, Dziana, Mydlarska and Długie Pobrzeże streets, placing it just a short walk from St Mary’s Basilica, Długi Targ and the Long Market, the Neptune Fountain, Artus Court, the Main Town Hall and the waterfront promenade lined with historic granaries, cafés and amber shops.
