The Astronomical Observatory in Gdańsk is located at Osiek 11/12, inside the building of the Gdańsk Autonomous Schools in the Old Town area, close to the historic heart of the city. It sits just a short walk from key landmarks such as the Main Town Hall, St. Mary’s Church, Długi Targ, and the Artus Court, and is near the former site of Johannes Hevelius’ observatory, with his grave in the nearby St. Bridget’s Church.
