The French Garden is located within Oliwa Park in the Oliwa district of Gdańsk, along the Oliwa Stream behind the historic abbey complex and in front of the Abbot’s Palace. It lies in the central‑western part of the park, close to the Great Pond, the Linden and Hornbeam alleys, the Whisper Caves, and the Japanese Garden, and is easily reached from Oliwa Cathedral, Oliwa Park itself, and nearby attractions such as the Japanese Garden, the botanical Palm House, and the Pachołek hill observation deck in the surrounding Oliwa green area.
