The postern of Bastion Schütz is located within the historic fortification belt on the western edge of Gdańsk’s Old Town, near the Wałowa street and the former city‑rampart area that now forms part of the riverside promenade. Nearby you can reach the Motława River embankment, the Old Town’s western gates and bastions, and walkways leading toward the Old Suburb district and the Crane (Żuraw), making it easy to combine with a riverside or fortification‑walk route through central Gdańsk.
