The National Maritime Museum in Gdańsk is located on Ołowianka Island at Ołowianka 9–13, directly on the Motława waterfront opposite the historic Long Embankment (Długie Pobrzeże) and the medieval Gdańsk Crane. It sits beside the museum ship SS Sołdek and is linked to the Old Town by the footbridge to Ołowianka, with nearby landmarks including St Mary’s Gate, St John’s Gate, Mariacka Street, Artus Court, Długi Targ and the Great Armoury, all reachable within a short walk through Gdańsk’s compact historic centre.
