This 12th-century castle site houses art collections including Polish paintings, Orthodox icons, and Tamara de Lempicka works, accessible via public buses or stairs from Castle Square. Nearby attractions feature Lublin Old Town with its colorful Renaissance tenements, Krakowskie Przedmieście pedestrian street for cafes and shops, Crown Tribune viewpoint, St. John the Baptist Cathedral, underground tourist route, State Art Gallery, open-air Folk Museum (skansen), and Majdanek Concentration Camp Memorial just outside the city.
