Dworek Wincentego Pola is a charming historic manor house in Lublin, dedicated to the life and legacy of the poet, geographer and patriot Wincenty Pol. Originally built in the late 18th century on the Firlejowszczyzna estate, the wooden residence was moved to its current location on Kalinowszczyzna Street in 1969 and later transformed into a biographical museum. Its interiors recreate the atmosphere of a 19th‑century Polish home, displaying manuscripts, correspondence, family documents, portraits, maps, globes and personal belongings that illustrate Pol’s literary work, scientific interests and travels. The museum also presents the history of the Pol family and the cultural environment that shaped the poet’s life. Surrounded by greenery and preserved with great care, the manor offers a quiet, intimate setting where visitors can explore both the heritage of Wincenty Pol and the charm of traditional Polish manor culture.
