Trinitarian Tower

About

Trinitarian Tower is one of Lublin’s most distinctive landmarks, rising above the Old Town with its elegant neoclassical silhouette and green spire. Built in the late 17th century as a bell tower on the site of a former city gate, it later gained its present form after an early‑19th‑century reconstruction that introduced its characteristic octagonal upper section. Once part of the Jesuit complex, the tower has served many roles, from lookout point to guardian of church bells, and today houses the Archdiocesan Museum of Religious Art. Climbing its more than 200 steps rewards visitors with one of the finest panoramas of Lublin, stretching across rooftops, church towers and the surrounding hills. Steeped in history and offering a memorable viewpoint, the Trinitarian Tower remains an essential stop for anyone exploring the city’s architectural and cultural heritage.
