Over the decades it evolved through several forms, including the Państwowa Operetka, before becoming the modern Teatr Muzyczny w Lublinie. Since 2000 it has been based in the long‑awaited “Teatr w Budowie,” now part of the Centre for the Meeting of Cultures, where it performs in a spacious, contemporary auditorium. The theatre is known for its lively repertoire, ranging from classic operettas and beloved musicals to family productions and large‑scale concerts.
