The Illusion Art Museum Prague (IAM Prague) is a captivating space where art and perception collide, located in the heart of the Old Town near the Astronomical Clock. Opened in 2018, it’s the Czech Republic’s first museum dedicated to illusion and trick art, showcasing works by renowned artists such as Patrick Hughes, Patrik Proško, and Ladislav Vlna. Spread across three floors, the museum features anamorphic installations, metallurgical paintings, lenticular images, and interactive exhibits that invite visitors to become part of the artwork. From optical reliefs and stereoscopic photographs to virtual reality experiences and light painting, each display challenges the viewer’s sense of reality.
