The Wallenstein Palace Gardens, located in Prague's Lesser Town district, are a stunning example of Baroque design and a peaceful retreat in the city. Built between 1623 and 1630 as part of the Wallenstein Palace complex, the gardens feature meticulously manicured hedges, vibrant flower beds, and bronze statues of Greek gods, crafted by Dutch sculptor Adriaen de Vries. A highlight is the Sala Terrena, a monumental loggia adorned with frescoes, offering a picturesque setting for summer concerts and cultural events. Visitors can enjoy the serene pond with ornamental fish, the aviary with exotic birds, and the free-roaming white peacocks that add charm to the gardens.
