​The UMPRUM Gallery, located within the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, serves as a dynamic platform for contemporary art and design. It hosts approximately ten exhibitions annually, balancing retrospectives with innovative works that reflect the interdisciplinary ethos of the academy. The gallery emphasizes showcasing emerging talents, particularly students and recent graduates, offering them a space to present their creative endeavors to the public.​ Recent exhibitions have highlighted the gallery's commitment to diverse artistic expressions. "Almost Nothing" by Barbora Haplová transformed the space into an immersive environment exploring themes of emptiness and absence through architectural installations and soundscapes. "Design and Transformation: Czech Landscape" presented works inspired by the Czech environment, featuring contributions from students, alumni, and faculty, including animated documentaries and design objects that reflect the nation's cultural identity. Additionally, "UMPRUM Attack!" offered a comprehensive showcase of student projects from the academic year, providing insights into the evolving landscape of art education and creative practice.​ Through its varied programming, the UMPRUM Gallery not only exhibits art but also fosters critical discourse and experimentation, making it a vital component of Prague's contemporary art scene.

​The UMPRUM Gallery is situated within the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, located at Náměstí Jana Palacha 80, in the historic centre of Prague . This prime location places the gallery in close proximity to several of the city's most iconic landmarks.​ Directly across the square stands the Rudolfinum, a renowned concert hall and art gallery that serves as the home of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra. Adjacent to the Rudolfinum is the Museum of Decorative Arts, which boasts extensive collections of European design, glassware, textiles, and ceramics . A short stroll from the gallery leads to the Vltava River, where visitors can enjoy picturesque views of Charles Bridge and the Prague Castle complex.​ Additionally, the gallery's location offers easy access to the Old Town Square, featuring the Astronomical Clock and the Church of Our Lady before Týn, as well as the Jewish Quarter with its historic synagogues and the Old Jewish Cemetery.
