​The Prague Aviation Museum, Kbely, offers an immersive journey through the history of Czech and Czechoslovak aviation. Situated at the historic Kbely military airfield, the museum showcases over 275 aircraft, with approximately 110 on public display. The collection spans from early 20th-century biplanes to Cold War-era jets, including unique exhibits like the Avia BH-11C L-BONK, the Avia B-534, and the Avia S-92 and CS-92—Czech versions of the Messerschmitt Me-262. Visitors can also explore Soviet-designed aircraft such as the Ilyushin Il-2 Shturmovik and the Lavochkin La-7. The museum's five hangars and outdoor areas house a variety of helicopters, airliners, and light aircraft, including the Mil Mi-24, Tupolev Tu-104, and the Praga E-114 Air Baby. Additionally, the museum features the Soyuz 28 return capsule, marking the historic spaceflight of Vladimír Remek, the first non-American and non-Soviet cosmonaut. With free admission and detailed exhibits in both Czech and English, the museum provides a comprehensive and accessible experience for aviation enthusiasts and history buffs alike.

​The Prague Aviation Museum, Kbely, is located at Mladoboleslavská 9, 197 00 Praha-Kbely, Czechia, situated on the grounds of the historic Kbely military airfield, approximately 8 km northeast of Prague's city center . This area, part of the Prague 19 district, is notable for its aviation heritage, being home to the Czech Air Force's first air base established in 1918 .​ Nearby, visitors can explore Stará Aerovka, a preserved section of the original airfield featuring additional aviation exhibits . The Letňany district, adjacent to Kbely, offers attractions such as the Letňany Shopping Centre and the Prague Letňany Airport, which hosts various events and exhibitions. Additionally, the Military Technical Museum Lešany, located about 30 km south of Prague, presents an extensive collection of military vehicles and equipment. Access to the museum is convenient via public transportation. From the Letňany metro station (Line C), visitors can take bus lines 185, 259, 269, 280, 302, 375, 376, or 378 to the 'Letecké muzeum' stop, which is approximately a 10-minute ride . The museum is open from May to September, Tuesday through Sunday, 10:00–18:00, and on weekends in October during the same hours . Admission is free.
