ifa Gallery Stuttgart is a leading venue for international contemporary art, fostering intercultural dialogue through exhibitions that explore migration, post-colonialism, and global cultural exchange. Located at Charlottenplatz in the historic Altes Waisenhaus building, the gallery is operated by the Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen (ifa), Germany’s oldest organization for international cultural relations. Since its founding in 1971, the gallery has showcased visual arts, architecture, and design from Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Eastern Europe. Its exhibitions are co-created with artists and curators worldwide, emphasizing collaborative processes and diverse perspectives.
