New Town Hall Leipzig
Completed in 1905 on the site of the former Pleissenburg fortress, the New Town Hall has served as the headquarters of Leipzig’s city administration ever since. Designed in a historicist style with neo-Renaissance influences, the vast complex is renowned for its richly decorated façade, castle-like courtyards, and monumental staircases. Its most iconic feature is the soaring main tower, rising to 114.8 meters, making it the tallest city hall tower in Germany.
