City-Hochhaus Leipzig
Rising 142.5 meters above Augustusplatz, the skyscraper was designed by architect Hermann Henselmann in the late 1960s and completed in 1972. Its distinctive shape, often compared to an open book or a “wisdom tooth,” makes it instantly recognizable on the Leipzig skyline. Today, the tower houses offices, but its greatest attraction for visitors is the observation platform on the 31st floor.
