The Gallery of Old Art at the Herbst Palace Museum in Łódź is an elegant extension of the historic residence of the Herbst family, showcasing one of the city’s finest collections of 19th‑ and early 20th‑century Polish painting. Housed in the former carriage house beside the neo‑Renaissance palace, the gallery presents masterpieces by artists such as Norblin, Michałowski, Rodakowski, Matejko, Gierymski, Malczewski, Wyczółkowski and Boznańska, offering a vivid panorama of evolving artistic styles and themes.
