About

The Center for Comics and Interactive Narrative in Łódź is one of the city’s newest cultural attractions, opened in 2023 within the revitalised EC1 complex. It celebrates the worlds of comics, video games and interactive storytelling, positioning Łódź as a leading hub of contemporary media culture. Visitors can explore a dynamic mix of exhibitions, from a two‑floor presentation of Polish and international comic art to immersive zones dedicated to digital creativity. The Retro Zone recreates the atmosphere of the 1980s and 1990s with classic arcade machines, while the Game Lab—developed in cooperation with CD PROJEKT RED—reveals the full process of video game creation through the universe of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. A dedicated VR area adds another layer of interactivity with augmented experiences and a hybrid escape room. Engaging, hands‑on and visually rich, the centre offers a unique journey through the evolution of storytelling across media, appealing to enthusiasts, families and anyone curious about how narratives are built in today’s digital world.

The Center for Comics and Interactive Narrative is located at Targowa 1/3, 90-022 Łódź, Poland, inside the EC1 – City of Culture complex.
