Źródliska Park is the oldest public park in Łódź, a green enclave whose history reaches back to 1840, when it was established on the edge of the young industrial city. Originally known as the Stroll Garden and later the English Garden, it once formed a single landscape park shaped by natural springs, alder groves and muddy forest paths. Over time it was divided into two parts, Źródliska I and Źródliska II, each developing its own character while remaining a vital part of the Księży Młyn heritage complex. Today the park blends historic charm with serene natural beauty: winding alleys, old oaks and decorative plantings create a peaceful setting for walks, while ponds and moist ground still hint at the springs that gave the park its name. The elegant gazebo, small bridges and seasonal flower displays add to its romantic atmosphere. Together with the nearby Palm House, Źródliska Park remains one of Łódź’s most beloved green refuges, offering a quiet escape in the heart of the city.
