The Museum of the Factory in Łódź offers an engaging look into the city’s industrial heritage, located within the historic Manufaktura complex once owned by textile magnate Izrael Poznański. The museum presents the rise of one of Łódź’s most important 19th‑century factories, showing how cotton was produced, how machinery evolved and how workers lived and laboured in this vast industrial district. Visitors can see original looms, models of steam engines, archival photographs, documents and films that recreate the atmosphere of a working mill.
