museum FLUXUS+ in Potsdam is a vibrant space for modern and contemporary art, dedicated to the experimental spirit of the international Fluxus movement and its legacy. Opened in 2008 in the Schiffbauergasse cultural quarter, the museum spans over 1,000 square meters and features a permanent exhibition centered on Wolf Vostell, a co-founder of Fluxus in Germany. His works—ranging from installations and video art to performance relics—are displayed alongside pieces by other key figures such as Nam June Paik, Ben Patterson, Emmett Williams, and Mary Bauermeister. The museum also presents contemporary art by Sebastian Heiner, Lutz Friedel, and Hella De Santarossa, bridging the radical 1960s avant-garde with today’s creative voices. Visitors can explore paintings, sculptures, photographs, films, and documents that challenge traditional boundaries between art and life. The museum FLUXUS+ is located at Schiffbauergasse 4f, within Potsdam’s vibrant cultural quarter on the banks of the Havel River. Opened in 2008, it is dedicated to the international Fluxus movement of the 1960s and 1970s and presents over 1,000 square metres of modern and contemporary art. The museum’s permanent exhibition showcases works by leading Fluxus artists such as Wolf Vostell, Nam June Paik, Ben Patterson, and Emmett Williams, alongside contemporary artists including Sebastian Heiner, Hella De Santarossa, and Lutz Friedel. Its open atrium hosts changing exhibitions, performances, and multimedia events, while the museum café offers waterfront views. Situated in the Schiffbauergasse complex, visitors are surrounded by a lively arts scene featuring the Hans Otto Theater, Waschhaus Potsdam, Fabrik dance center, and scenic walking paths along the Lake Tiefer See. The area is accessible by tram lines 93, 94, or 99 from Potsdam Hauptbahnhof, stopping at Holzmarktstraße or Schiffbauergasse/Uferweg.​
